ATM is a public company responsible for public transportation in Milan city and some surrounding municipalities in Italy. It operates 4 metro lines (Milan Metro), 18 tram lines, 69 urban bus lines, 4 trolleybus lines, and 53 interurban bus lines, carrying over 734 million passengers in 2010.
As the demend of digital channel has been raised, ATM released several such as digital kiosks, website, iOS/Android/other mobile OS apps, SMS and email. Specially mobile app aims main integrated mobility platform allowing users to purchase tickets via credit card or text message with real-time information on railway stations and airports, car-sharing vehicles, BikeMi and cycle-paths. However, its user experience has several points to be improved specifically in user flow and usability aspect.
